I was asked by someone the other day how many pieces of furniture have we built, painted and fixed over the years?? Wow that made me think about it for a few days, look over some old files.. Shabby lil Cabinet


Yes, I paint furniture- I hear it all the time why would you paint that.. Well it’s what I do. This lil’ cutie was just finished, I kept thinking while painting where can I put this at home?? I know I can’t keep everything, so what do I get rid of. Needless to say, she’s for sale. Debi

At the beginning of the week we found an old dresser, apparently from the 1890’s, so Debi went about re-finishing it with FAT Paint. We could tell it was very old for 2 reasons; it had a very musty, old odor about it and the drawer handles were hand carved.

She chose the Warm White colour with rosebud to highlite the edges of the carved handles. Then Debi finished the dresser with FAT Wax and she is very happy with the ‘new look’ of this old piece.

This dresser is now in our showroom at $325
